Photography is perspective to me.

I am interested in the moment when a familiar place suddenly feels different. A different light, a new line, a reflection on the water, a short change in the sky. Often it is only a matter of minutes when everything comes together. That is where photography begins for me.

Lucerne from my perspective

Lucerne is more than a beautiful subject to me. The city is a starting point, a reference point and a visual space at the same time. Chapel Bridge, Water Tower, the Reuss, Lake Lucerne, Mount Pilatus and the old town are places I photograph again and again. Not because they are obvious, but because they keep changing.

A morning by the Reuss feels different from an evening by the lake. Fog removes the contours of the city. Rain brings reflections to the streets. Sunlight draws lines across facades, bridges and alleys. These changes interest me. They make familiar places readable in a new way.

As a Lucerne Ambassador, I show my city as I perceive it: close to the atmosphere, with a calm eye and deliberately away from interchangeable clichés.

What shapes my photography

My photography is shaped by light, lines, weather and composition. I do not look for overloaded images, but for clear perspectives. To me, an image does not need to explain everything. It should leave room for memory, mood and personal stories.

I do not only photograph landmarks. Quiet corners, architectural details, transitions between city and landscape or brief everyday moments are just as important. A good image is often not created by chance, but through repeated observation: the same place, a different time of day, different weather, a new angle.

Some of my images are available as prints, posters, postcards or digital files. Not as mass-produced goods, but as a curated selection. Images that show a place and carry a mood. For people who know Lucerne, miss it, discover it anew or want to bring a piece of this perspective home.
