Photography tips
How this image was taken
For this night scene, the aperture of f/4.5 and the ISO sensitivity of 1600 captured sufficient light for the short shutter speed of 1/8 s.
- Select an open aperture for night photography to allow more light to reach the sensor.
- Use a short shutter speed to prevent motion blur when shooting handheld.
- Adjust the ISO sensitivity according to the light conditions to enable a short shutter speed.
