Photography tips
How this image was taken
For this night shot, a shutter speed of 13 s was chosen to capture the dim ambient light, while the aperture of f/16 ensures consistent depth of field. The ISO of 800 provides a balance between light sensitivity and image noise.
- Utilize reflections in puddles as a compositional element to add depth to the nocturnal scene.
- Choose a low perspective to optimally integrate the reflections in the foreground into the composition.
- Use a small aperture to capture the light points precisely during long exposures.
