Photography tips
How this image was taken
For this night shot, the shutter speed of 5 seconds ensures enough light hits the sensor, while an aperture of f/9 provides sufficient depth of field. The ISO 800 balances light sensitivity and image quality in the dark environment.
- Use a low camera angle close to the ground to incorporate a puddle as an interesting foreground.
- Select a longer shutter speed to capture details in the shadows even in low ambient light.
- Use a medium aperture to keep both the reflection in the foreground and the trees in the background in focus.
