Photography tips
How this image was taken
For this shot, a shutter speed of 1/15 s combined with an aperture of f/4 and ISO 500 allows for a balanced exposure of the light installation at night. The 14 mm focal length creates a wide perspective that captures both the building and the fairy lights in the foreground.
- Use a wide-angle lens to capture both the building and the illuminated trees in the foreground.
- Pay attention to the shutter speed to achieve sufficient brightness in low light without excessive image noise.
- Position yourself so that the fairy lights in the foreground frame the image without obscuring the main subject.
