Photography tips
How this image was taken
For this shot with a shutter speed of 1/2 s, an aperture of f/3.5, and ISO 500, a moderate exposure was used to capture the nocturnal atmosphere while maintaining details in both the light sources and their water reflections.
- Select a shutter speed of approximately half a second to gently smooth the water movement and capture the light reflections on the surface in a balanced way.
- Use an open aperture such as f/3.5 to allow enough light to hit the sensor in these conditions without unnecessarily increasing the ISO value.
- Use a wide focal length of 12 mm to capture the entire sequence of water fountains and their reflections in a comprehensive composition.
