Photography tips
How this image was taken
This shot was taken in low light using a shutter speed of 1/3 s, an aperture of f/4, and an ISO of 5000. The high ISO sensitivity allowed for handheld shooting of the light installation, while the wide aperture captured enough light for the details of the church interior.
- Use a wide aperture to allow as much light as possible onto the sensor in difficult lighting conditions.
- Experiment with ISO sensitivity to achieve a bright image without excessive motion blur, despite the short shutter speed.
- Choose a focal length in the wide-angle range to capture the entire altar area and the atmosphere of the lights.
