Photography tips
How this image was taken
This shot, taken with an exposure time of 1/13 s and ISO 4000, allowed capturing the dim light installations in the dark church handheld. The wide aperture of f/4 ensures sufficient light entry with a focal length of 12 mm.
- Use a wide-angle lens to fully capture the entire church interior and the high vaulted ceiling.
- Select a high ISO sensitivity to achieve a sharp handheld image despite the short shutter speed in low-light conditions.
- Focus on a central composition to emphasize the symmetry of the architecture and the altar area.
