Photography tips
How this image was taken
This shot was taken at night using a shutter speed of 1/30 sec, an aperture of f/4, and ISO 500 to balance the light from the installation with the building facade. The 16 mm focal length allowed for including the close foreground in the frame.
- Use a fast shutter speed to avoid motion blur when shooting handheld at night.
- Employ a wide-angle lens to capture both the light installation in the foreground and the architecture in the background.
- Select a wide aperture to let enough light onto the sensor in night conditions while keeping the ISO setting moderate.
