Photography tips
How this image was taken
For this nocturnal subject, the shutter speed of 1/13 s and the aperture of f/4 allow capturing the historical facade despite the light projection, with the ISO of 4000 providing the necessary light sensitivity. The 45 mm focal length results in a natural perspective.
- Choose a moderate aperture to keep architectural details visible despite the low ambient light.
- Pay attention to steady hands regarding the shutter speed to avoid motion blur with these settings.
- Use the intensity of the light projection to specifically expose for the bright areas and maintain detail in the image.
