Photography tips
How this image was taken
For this image in night-time conditions, a shutter speed of 1/1 second was chosen to let enough light onto the sensor, while the f/4 aperture and ISO 1000 balance the scene exposure.
- Choose a shutter speed of around one second to capture the ambient light of the light installations.
- Use an open aperture like f/4 to compensate for light sensitivity with a moderate ISO value of 1000.
- Focus on a steady perspective to ensure the detailed projections on the water tower appear sharp.
