Photography tips
How this image was taken
For this shot at a 15 mm focal length, an aperture of f/22 and a shutter speed of 1/2 second were chosen to achieve deep focus despite the low light, while the ISO 800 setting keeps image noise within a reasonable range during twilight.
- Use a wide-angle perspective of 15 mm to capture the vastness of the lake and the panorama of Mount Pilatus in full.
- Select a small aperture like f/22 to ensure that everything from the sailboats in the foreground to the horizon remains in focus.
- Pay attention to camera stability with a shutter speed of 1/2 second to avoid motion blur in these light conditions.
