Photography tips
How this image was taken
Using an aperture of f/16 provides a deep depth of field, keeping both the flag and the background in focus. The fast shutter speed of 1/160 s freezes the motion of the flag in the wind, while the low ISO of 200 ensures high image clarity.
- Ensure a fast shutter speed when capturing moving subjects to render the texture of the fabric sharply.
- Choose a narrow aperture if you want to keep both foreground elements and the background scenery in focus.
- Use a moderate wide-angle focal length to capture the interaction between a foreground object and the urban surroundings.
