Photography tips
How this image was taken
For this image, an aperture of f/16 provided deep focus, while the shutter speed of 1/125 s effectively captured the flag in the wind while keeping the scene crisp. The ISO 200 ensures optimal image quality under these lighting conditions.
- Use a stopped-down aperture such as f/16 to ensure both the flag in the foreground and the architecture in the background remain sharp.
- When shooting moving subjects like a flag in the wind, maintain a shutter speed of at least 1/125 s to avoid motion blur.
- Employ a focal length of 29 mm to capture the flag while keeping the surrounding lakeshore scenery in context.
