Photography tips
How this image was taken
Using a fast shutter speed of 1/800 s allows you to freeze the motion of the waving flags, while the f/6.3 aperture provides a balanced depth of field between the foreground and the city skyline.
- Choose a fast shutter speed to capture the movement of the flags sharply.
- Use a mid-range aperture to keep both the flags and the city background clearly in focus.
- Consider your focal length carefully to decide how much of the surroundings you want to include to provide context to the scene.
