Photography tips
How this image was taken
This shot was taken with a 15 mm focal length and an aperture of f/4.5, emphasizing the converging lines of the building facades. The shutter speed of 1/80 s at ISO 125 ensures a steady and detailed rendering of the architecture.
- Use a wide-angle focal length to intensify the vertical depth and the narrow proportions of an alleyway.
- Choose a frog perspective from the centre of the ground to make the facades appear to rise symmetrically into the sky.
- Select an open aperture to allow for a fast shutter speed during daytime and avoid motion blur.
