Photography tips
How this image was taken
For this image, the 13-second exposure time allows for a precise capture of the dusk lighting, while the f/8 aperture ensures depth of field and the ISO 100 setting maintains low noise for high image quality. The 15 mm focal length helps to capture the wide expanse of the scene.
- Use a long exposure time to capture the lighting atmosphere during the blue hour and smooth out the water surface.
- Select a medium aperture like f/8 to achieve consistent sharpness throughout the image.
- Use a low ISO setting like ISO 100 to ensure clear image quality without noise.
- Use a wide-angle lens with 15 mm to frame the entire width of the subject.
