Photography tips
How this image was taken
In this shot, the shutter speed of 2 seconds ensures sufficient exposure in low evening light, while the aperture of f/8 provides deep depth of field. The 12 mm focal length captures the scene expansively and emphasises the symmetrical arrangement.
- Use a symmetrical composition by positioning the two historical street lamps as framing elements on the left and right edges of the frame.
- Select a narrow aperture like f/8 to keep both the foreground cobblestones and the KKL in the distance in focus.
- Use a long shutter speed of 2 seconds to capture movement on the bridge during dusk as a fluid motion.
