Photography tips
How this image was taken
Using an aperture of f/11 allows you to achieve good image quality with sufficient depth of field for this landscape shot. The shutter speed of 1/160 s combined with ISO 250 enables you to capture a sharp image handheld, despite the diffused light caused by Saharan dust and smoke particles.
- Use a mid-range aperture like f/11 to achieve consistent sharpness in expansive landscape scenes.
- When using longer focal lengths like 135 mm, ensure you choose a sufficiently fast shutter speed to avoid motion blur.
- Adjust your ISO sensitivity to remain flexible when reacting to changing light conditions during sunset.
