Photography tips
How this image was taken
With an aperture of f/10, you achieve high depth of field, keeping both the snow-covered city of Lucerne and the headphones in the foreground visible. A shutter speed of 1/160 s prevents motion blur, while the ISO of 500 compensates for the soft light of the scene.
- Use an object in the foreground to create a natural frame for your subject.
- Select a closed aperture to capture the details of the cityscape sharply, despite the close-up element.
- Pay attention to the late afternoon light, which emphasizes contours and provides a soft atmosphere.
