Photography tips
How this image was taken
The aperture of f/9 ensures a deep depth of field, keeping both the foreground buildings and the distant castle sharp and detailed. Together with ISO 200 and a shutter speed of 1/80 s, this setup produces a clear image in the available light.
- Use a stopped-down aperture like f/8 or f/9 to ensure the entire scene is sharp from front to back.
- Choose an elevated perspective to capture the rooftops of the old town and the landscape layout effectively.
- Use a medium focal length around 45 mm to maintain a natural look without distortion.
- Take advantage of the soft evening light to enhance the golden tones in the architecture and the surroundings.
