Photography tips
How this image was taken
Using a focal length of 16 mm allows you to capture the entire width of the alphorn players and the mountain backdrop, while the f/18 aperture ensures a deep depth of field, keeping both the subjects and the mountains in focus. The shutter speed of 1/400 s helps to freeze slight movements while playing.
- Use a wide-angle lens to capture the expansive scenery on the terrace in its entirety.
- Select a closed aperture to keep everything from the foreground to the background in sharp focus.
- Ensure a fast shutter speed to guarantee a clear image of the people in daylight.
