Photography tips
How this image was taken
In this shot, the small aperture of f/18 ensures a deep depth of field, while the fast shutter speed of 1/400 s freezes all motion. The focal length of 12 mm allowed for capturing the spacious terrace and the alphorn players in their entirety.
- Use a small aperture to keep both the subjects in the foreground and the mountain massif in the background sharp.
- Choose a fast shutter speed to ensure the performers appear clear and free of motion blur.
- Utilize an ultra-wide-angle lens to effectively capture the expansive scale of the mountain scenery.
