Photography tips
How this image was taken
Using a 21 mm focal length helps you capture the vastness of the scene, while the f/25 aperture ensures deep depth of field, keeping both the flowers in the foreground and the hotel in focus. The shutter speed of 1/60 s at ISO 800 allows you to shoot handheld under the given lighting conditions without motion blur.
- Use a close foreground like the alpine flowers to add depth to the image and create an interesting contrast to the architectural background.
- Select a small aperture to keep everything from the flowers to the hotel in sharp focus.
- Pay attention to the image composition with your wide-angle lens to harmoniously frame both the plant details and the hotel scenery.
