Photography tips
How this image was taken
Using a 12 mm focal length allows you to capture the expansive view from the cable car, while an aperture of f/7.1 ensures sufficient depth of field. The shutter speed of 1/200 s prevents motion blur from the moving car, and an ISO of 200 keeps the image clear in these diffuse lighting conditions.
- Use a wide-angle lens to impressively capture the scale of the misty forest landscape.
- Select a fast shutter speed to ensure sharp results despite the motion of the cable car.
- Pay attention to the leading lines of the cables in your composition to draw the viewer's eye deep into the mist.
