Photography tips
How this image was taken
An aperture of f/14 and a 35 mm focal length were used to ensure both the traffic light in the foreground and the historic building in the background remain in focus. The shutter speed of 1/200 s allows for a sharp handheld shot under these specific lighting conditions.
- Use an aperture of f/14 to achieve a deep depth of field, keeping both foreground and background details sharp.
- Choose a perspective that combines a prominent object in the foreground with a historic background to create visual depth.
- Pay attention to the composition by deliberately placing striking elements like the traffic light to create a contrast with the historic surroundings.
