Photography tips
How this image was taken
To capture the moving cable car sharply, a very fast shutter speed of 1/2000 s was used, while an aperture of f/8 provides sufficient depth for the 400 mm focal length. The ISO 1250 balances the lighting conditions on a cloudy day.
- Use a fast shutter speed to effectively freeze the motion of the cable car.
- Utilize a 400 mm focal length to bring the subject closer from a distance and isolate details of the mountain station.
- Choose a medium aperture like f/8 to achieve a good balance between depth of field and image quality.
