Photography tips
How this image was taken
Using an aperture of f/10 ensures a deep depth of field, keeping both the hotel complex in the foreground and the horizon in sharp focus. The combination of a 1/80 s shutter speed and ISO 320 allowed for a precise exposure during this sunset without camera shake.
- Use a wide-angle lens to capture the full breadth of the mountain landscape and the hotel complex together.
- Select a closed aperture like f/10 to ensure details are sharp from the foreground complex to the horizon.
- Choose a moderate ISO for this type of sunset light to keep image noise low while preserving the vibrant colors in the sky.
