Photography tips
How this image was taken
This shot was captured using a focal length of 12 mm and an aperture of f/20. The small aperture creates the distinct sunstar effect around the sun, while the shutter speed of 1/60 s and ISO 640 ensure a sharp representation of the vast landscape.
- Use a small aperture like f/20 when shooting directly into the sun to create a sunstar effect.
- Opt for a focal length of 12 mm to capture the full breadth of the mountain landscape and the lake.
- Balance your exposure settings to maintain detail in both the darker mountain shadows and the bright sunlight.
