Photography tips
How this image was taken
In this lighting situation, a shutter speed of 1/4 s was used to capture the low light levels, while the aperture of f/5 and ISO 1600 balanced detail and light sensitivity. The 12 mm focal length provided the wide panoramic view.
- Choose an ultra-wide angle focal length for expansive mountain vistas.
- Use a longer shutter speed to allow enough ambient light onto the sensor during twilight.
- Adjust the ISO setting to allow for a short exposure time in low light conditions.
