Photography tips
How this image was taken
On this sunny winter day, the short shutter speed of 1/1000 s combined with the low ISO setting of 100 ensures that the bright snow and mountain surfaces are properly exposed. The 15 mm focal length provides a wide perspective that captures the entire mountain panorama.
- Use a wide-angle focal length to capture the expansive summit region in its entirety.
- Pay attention to your shutter speed to prevent overexposure caused by the bright light reflecting off the snow.
- Choose a low ISO setting to maintain high image quality without digital noise amidst the strong contrasts between rock and snow.
