Photography tips
How this image was taken
With a focal length of 22 mm, the aperture of f/14 ensures a high depth of field, keeping both the foreground ship bollards and Mount Pilatus in focus. The ISO of 200 and a shutter speed of 1/160 s result in a balanced exposure in bright daylight.
- Use a nearby object like the bollards in the foreground to create depth in your composition.
- Choose a small aperture, such as f/11 or higher, to maintain sharpness from the foreground to the background.
- Use a wide angle lens to frame your main subject between foreground elements.
