Photography tips
How this image was taken
For this sunset image using a 12 mm focal length, the f/7.1 aperture provides sufficient depth of field, while the 1/125 s shutter speed and ISO 500 allow for proper exposure in fading light.
- Use a wide-angle lens to capture the vastness of the mountains and the layer of fog effectively.
- Maintain a moderate aperture to ensure both the detailed mountain landscape and the atmospheric sunset mood remain sharp.
- Choose a sufficiently fast shutter speed to ensure a shake-free image at this focal length.
