Photography tips
How this image was taken
For this night shot, the shutter speed of 1/2 s provides enough light to the sensor, while the aperture of f/10 ensures deep focus across the building facades. The ISO 1000 setting balances the lighting conditions to capture the details of the illuminated advent windows.
- Use a 12 mm focal length to capture both buildings and the entire light installation in a wide angle.
- Apply an aperture of f/10 to render the light points on the facades with precision and clarity.
- Adjust the shutter speed for the dark environment to document the illuminated numbers without overexposure.
