Photography tips
How this image was taken
For this image captured during twilight, the aperture of f/4 combined with a shutter speed of 1/50 s allowed for a balanced exposure of the musicians, while the high ISO of 6400 was essential to compensate for the low light conditions.
- Adjust settings: In dim lighting, ensure a high enough ISO to prevent motion blur when photographing active subjects.
- Choose perspective: Position yourself to align striking background elements like the church towers with your main subject to create depth.
- Composition: Use decorative lighting elements to serve as leading lines that guide the viewer's eye toward the foreground action.
