Photography tips
How this image was taken
For this shot, a shutter speed of 1/125 s and an aperture of f/4 help to capture the lighting mood of the candles against the cool ambient light, with an ISO of 3200 providing the necessary sensitivity. The 45 mm focal length allows for a natural perspective of the line of lanterns.
- Use a wide aperture to capture the ambient light during twilight.
- Select a shutter speed that is fast enough to capture the soft light of the candles without blur.
- Pay attention to image noise in darker areas when using high ISO settings.
- Use the arrangement of objects to create a clear line in the composition.
