Photography tips
How this image was taken
This night shot was taken with a shutter speed of 1/2 second to capture sufficient detail in the city lights at ISO 800, while the aperture of f/6.3 ensures balanced depth of field.
- Use the shutter speed of 1/2 second to capture the city lights and festive illuminations without excessive image noise.
- Pay attention to composition by including elements such as the ice rink in the foreground to provide depth.
- Choose a medium aperture like f/6.3 to keep both the decorated foreground and the city lights in the background sharp.
