Photography tips
How this image was taken
To achieve high depth of field in night conditions, an aperture of f/11 was used. The long exposure time of 3.2 seconds allows enough light to be captured for the details of the ice rink and the city scenery at an ISO setting of 640.
- Choose a small aperture to ensure sharpness from the foreground to the background.
- Use a long exposure time to capture a low-noise image with a lower ISO setting despite the night ambient light.
- Utilize a wide-angle focal length like 12 mm to capture the entire expansive scene and urban atmosphere.
