Photography tips
How this image was taken
This shot was taken at night with a long exposure time of 20 seconds to capture the lighting and reflections accurately. The narrow aperture of f/20 creates the characteristic star effect on the light sources, while the ISO 400 setting keeps image noise at a minimum during the long exposure.
- Use a long exposure time to effectively capture the nocturnal atmosphere and the festive lighting.
- Select a small aperture to render light sources like street lamps or fairy lights as distinct stars.
- Maintain a low to moderate ISO value to ensure high image quality without disturbing noise during night photography.
