Photography tips
How this image was taken
With a shutter speed of 1.3 seconds and an aperture of f/8, you capture the Christmas lighting in great detail, while the ISO 640 provides a good balance between light sensitivity and image quality. The 12 mm focal length allows you to fully represent the historic facade.
- Use a longer shutter speed to effectively showcase the warm glow of the decorations during the onset of darkness.
- Select a medium aperture to ensure both the glowing stars and the texture of the arches are captured sharply.
- Pay attention to your position when using a wide-angle perspective to fully encompass the building's architecture within its urban setting.
