Photography tips
How this image was taken
For this night shot, the two-second exposure time combined with an aperture of f/16 allows for the rendering of light reflections on the water, while an ISO of 1600 provides the necessary sensitivity in low-light conditions.
- Use a narrow aperture like f/16 to turn point light sources into small stars.
- Select a longer shutter speed to smoothly capture the reflections of the Christmas lighting on the water.
- Pay attention to your choice of ISO at night to ensure details remain visible in the darkness.
