Photography tips
How this image was taken
To capture this scene in low light, a shutter speed of 1/3 second was used to gather sufficient light, while an aperture of f/9 ensures good depth of field. The ISO of 1000 balances the exposure at a focal length of 12 mm.
- Use a slow shutter speed in combination with a stable position to achieve sharp details despite the low light.
- Choose a small aperture like f/9 to keep both the tree and the architectural structures in the courtyard in focus.
- Use a wide-angle lens to fully capture the spatial effect of the courtyard and the Christmas tree.
