Photography tips
How this image was taken
For this night shot, a shutter speed of 15 s was chosen to capture enough light, while the narrow aperture of f/20 allows the points of light in the string lights to appear as precise starbursts.
- Use a long shutter speed at night to evenly capture the lighting mood.
- Select a narrow aperture like f/20 to create the starburst effect around point light sources.
- Use an ISO of 400 to find a good balance between light sensitivity and image quality at night.
