Photography tips
How this image was taken
In this shot, the long exposure time of 2.5 s ensures sufficient light for the night scene, while an aperture of f/11 allows for a deep depth of field. An ISO setting of 640 balances exposure while keeping sensor noise manageable in low light.
- Use a stopped-down aperture like f/11 to make point light sources appear as small starbursts.
- Choose a long exposure time to ensure the surroundings of the illuminated stalls remain visible despite the darkness of the night.
- Create a deliberate composition by incorporating a distinct element like the basin into the foreground of your image.
