Photography tips
How this image was taken
For this night shot, the shutter speed of 1.3 seconds captures passing vehicles as light trails, while the aperture of f/4 allows sufficient light at ISO 200. The 42 mm focal length helps compress the image elements between the foreground and the architecture.
- Use longer shutter speeds to capture the dynamics of traffic in the form of light trails.
- Deliberately include an element in the foreground to provide depth and create a frame for the building.
- Choose a low ISO value to achieve high image quality without disturbing noise when capturing bright light sources at night.
