Photography tips
How this image was taken
The shutter speed of 2.5 seconds creates the desired motion blur of the ice skaters, while the aperture of f/11 ensures depth of field. With an ISO value of 250, the image remains low in noise under the nocturnal lighting.
- Use a longer shutter speed to dynamically render movement in the scene as blur.
- Select a narrow aperture like f/11 to capture light sources as starbursts and achieve deep focus.
- Keep the ISO value low to ensure high image quality for night shots.
