Photography tips
How this image was taken
This twilight shot requires a high ISO value of 5000 to ensure sufficient exposure for the moving subjects on the ice, despite the relatively short shutter speed of 1/200 s. The aperture of f/4 combined with the 12 mm focal length provides a wide angle of view that captures the full atmosphere of the scene.
- Use a short shutter speed to freeze the movement of the skaters.
- Select a high ISO value to achieve proper exposure during the challenging low-light conditions of twilight.
- Employ a wide-angle lens to capture the scale of the ice rink and its surroundings.
