Photography tips
How this image was taken
To capture this illuminated sign at night, a shutter speed of 1/3s was used to gather sufficient light. An aperture of f/11 ensures precise detail, while an ISO of 1000 provides the necessary sensitivity for these lighting conditions.
- Use a longer shutter speed to ensure details in illuminated subjects remain visible in low light.
- Select a narrow aperture such as f/11 if you want the light points to appear sharp and defined.
- Adjust your ISO setting incrementally to find the right balance between image noise and the required exposure time for night photography.
