Photography tips
How this image was taken
To capture the details of the wish cards and the reflecting light within the Christmas bauble in dim conditions, a shutter speed of 1 s at f/11 was used, with an ISO of 1000 providing the necessary sensitivity.
- Use a smaller aperture like f/11 to achieve a sufficient depth of field, ensuring both the bauble and the surrounding cards remain sharp.
- Choose a longer shutter speed to allow enough light to hit the sensor at this aperture setting.
- Adjust the ISO value to manage the exposure in low light, while keeping an eye on the balance between brightness and digital noise.
