Photography tips

Frame

View through a rock opening at Pilatus overlooking the snowy Alps and Lake Lucerne at sunset

Key tips

  1. Use a small aperture to render the light source at the edge of the frame as a star.
  2. Intentionally use the dark rock tunnel as a frame to direct focus toward the landscape in the background.
  3. Select a focal length of 14 mm to include the entire monument and light effects within the frame.
